Kenneth Carpenter. Provided revisions of North American plesiosaurs. His current research into plesiosaurs includes an invstigation into their locomotion.

Sanka Chatterjee. Described and named Morturneria (co-author).

Arthur Cruickshank. described Rhomaleosaurus megacephalus, Leptocleidus capensis

Pat Druckenmiller. Described and named Edgarosaurus. Describing new 'Leptocleidid'.

Mark Evans. Ph.D. on neck flexibility in plesiosaurs. redescribed skull of Muraenosaurus. Currently describing new plesiosaur genus.

Mike Everhart. Plesiosaur gastroliths, plesiosaurs as mosasaur food. Author of Oceans of Kansas, with a couple of sections on plesiosaurs.
